Auspac Business SoftwareYear 2000 (Y2K) Readiness Statement

5 May 1999

Auspac Business Software and the Year 2000. Auspac Software Department recognises the importance of providing our Customers with products that will continue to function correctly during the Year 2000 and beyond.

Our products-Auspac Business Software. It is our goal to ensure that our Customers can continue to use our Current Products during and after the Year 2000.

As part of our Year 2000 Program, Auspac Corporation Sdn Bhd will work with past Customers who are using our Products to find appropriate solutions to Year 2000 readiness issues. We will provide our Customers with information regarding each product’s readiness status, as well as guidance regarding upgrades or alternative solutions, where possible.

Our software. It is important to note that when Auspac Business Software is identified as being Year 2000 Ready, we are assuming that you are using Y2K ready hardware and operating systems. The readiness of your Auspac Business Software products will be subject to the limitations of your computer hardware and operating systems. We performed our evaluations using Y2K ready hardware and operating systems. Since PC’s are subject to very rapid changes in firmware and hardware, it is possible that two models which seem to be identical will not handle date functions in exactly the same way. Therefore, if your equipment is used in a critical application, we strongly advise you to test the equipment by simulating the millennium date change yourself.

Third party hardware and software. The Year 2000 readiness status of any hardware, software or firmware not manufactured by Auspac Corporation Sdn Bhd is your responsibility (they were not included in our evaluation) and you should contact the manufacturer directly. Specific details regarding full Y2K readiness and future year limits should be addressed directly with the manufacturer.

Customer commitment. We recognize the importance of this issue to our Customers. If you have any additional questions, please contact our Technical Support Department. Also, we hope you are taking steps to assure that you too will be ready to do business in the 21st century.

Nothing in this statement is intended to modify rights and obligations under any agreement or to create any new rights or obligations between Auspac Corporation Sdn Bhd and our Customers. This Year 2000 Readiness Statement is provided for the sole purpose of assisting our Customers in their planning for the transition to the year 2000.
